Please join Douglas Disposal, Inc., in our efforts to make the holidays a little brighter for our Carson Valley neighbors this year. Residential customers are asked to set out canned and packaged foods in a sealed bag next to your trash can on your regular refuse collection day.

Donations can be dropped off at our Main Office located at 1653 N. Lucerne Street, Suite A in Minden and at the Douglas County Transfer Station located at 902 Dump Road in Gardnerville

If you’ve had recent bear activity in your neighborhood, please consider bringing donations to one of our drop off locations.

The goods will be collected by our drivers and distributed through the Carson Valley Community Food Closet

Collection Routes

All refuse is collected on your normal collection day throughout the holidays. 

If you wish to tip your driver, please hand it to him or mail it to the office.
